The Lauchland Method

For growth-oriented non-profits seeking to fundraise with a tailored, relationship-building, and results-oriented approach, I provide executive-level guidance for your organization’s board, prominent leaders, and champions to leverage their connectivity.


I have successfully created and executed strategic fundraising plans for organizations in many sectors, including the cultivation of prospects, development of individual approaches, and managing the process from the first contact with a firm or individual through securing of a contribution.


My style is to collaborate with all stakeholders, including other project consultants and volunteers in a team environment. My specialty is building excellent working relationships with busy C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners and motivating them, because I am sensitive to the demands on their time.


The number one mistake of fundraising is thinking it’s just a numbers game. Your outreach is not a sales effort and potential donors are not buyers. With more than two decades of successful fundraising experience, I am proud of achievements that include:


  • Reaching multi-million fundraising goals (often in under a year) for several California statewide organizations advocating for changes in legislation.

  • Within the engineering profession, meeting multi-million-dollar fundraising goals for two campaigns within five years.

  • Expanding a grassroots organization representing California and Arizona into a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization advocating for 17 states, and guiding the funding development as well as the development of the board and membership.

Initial Consultation

When you are ready to meet, we will discuss your goals and identify how I might help you create the organizational mindset required to activate the untapped fundraising potential among your leaders and members. Typically, we plan for a presentation where we meet with your stakeholders, and begin their exploration of The Lauchland Method. 


I help you identify and cultivate the individuals whom I call, the “Right Few.” These are your truly committed and connected champions who need to be activated within your organization. Unlike “factory farm-style fundraising,” with phone banks, email funnels, and strangers pitching your cause, I personally help you identify, cultivate, educate, and guide the well-connected champions within your organization.

Then, I help you identify the 'right options' that ignite successful giving from each prospective donor. Together, we implement the specific, customized 'right actions' that help you meet your fundraising goals and burnish your organization’s reputation.
